Who is Home Ownership Made Easy?

Home Ownership Made Easy has a successful history of providing housing to individuals who receive services from the Westside Regional Center. Home Ownership Made Easy focuses its efforts and activities on persons with developmental disabilities; people with intellectual disabilities, cerebral palsy, autism, and epilepsy, for instance. In the future HOME will be expanding its efforts to include persons with other physical disabilities.

Home Ownership Made Easy assists in providing permanent housing by buying homes to be used into perpetuity as licensed care facilities or “group homes” for the more fragile individuals. With a Non- Profit Housing Corporation such as H.O.M.E. owning and managing the property we save tax payers millions of dollars “buying it once” because, we do not lose housing stock for the developmentally disabled such as when private owners decide to retire or sale the property. H.O.M.E.’s existing inventory of real estate is a mixture of single family homes, condos and multifamily units, 43 in total.
